Tasks

-Interacting and interfacing with clients, regulators, and subcontractors onsite -Planning, organizing, scheduling, and leading field and operations and maintenance (O&M) activities. -Conducting site investigation activities including: drilling, monitoring well installations, downhole geophysics, sampling (soil, groundwater, indoor air, soil gas, sediment, surface water, stormwater, drinking water, building materials, and biota) according to FDEP and EPA SOPs. -Assisting in the development of technical recommendations for site assessment and remediation activities. -Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, estimates, work plans, and technical reports. -Assisting Project Managers with CERCLA, RCRA, and petroleum projects in various stages.

What You Bring

-Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations. -Minimum of 5 years of environmental experience, including oversight of contractors, air, soil, groundwater, wastewater sampling and drilling, field project planning, and execution. -Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance. -Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs, including Word and Excel. -Preferred: EIT or GIT, and the ability to obtain a PE or PG license. -Valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle in the U.S. -Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day. -Minimum of a BS in Geology or Hydrogeology, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or an Environmental related science. -Possess current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and 8-hour refreshers. -Strong attention to detail. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Professional registration, certification, GID, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus.
