Overview

Manage commercial aspects of the Lower Thames Crossing project

Tasks

-Provides commercial input to Buildability and Value Engineering reviews. -Ensure subcontract and supply chain compliance with contractual and company procedures. -To co-ordinate the commercial team to ensure programme issues are identified and actioned. -Administer the defined cost contract including disallowed cost assessments, compensation events and cost verification. -Ensure data integrity in defined cost submissions, reconciling site cost data and finance records. -Manage the preparation of the monthly Cost and Value Reconciliation (CVR) and associated commercial reports. -Provide commercial input to operational decisions, ensuring risks and opportunities are commercially managed. -Monitor and report on subcontractor account status, including payments, liabilities and variations. -Support the Senior Commercial Manager in compiling project-level commercial performance reports for internal and client reviews. -Assist the Senior Commercial Manager with risk and opportunity management, maintaining accurate registers and mitigation plans. -Work collaboratively with the supply chain’s commercial team to ensure smooth and transparent communication on cost and change matters. -Manage the day-to-day commercial administration of defined project sections, ensuring compliance with the main contract and subcontract agreements. -Foster strong relationships with internal teams and the supply chain to ensure commercial awareness and compliance with contract procedures. -To manage the preparation and review of Earned Value Management.

What You Bring

-Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards) -CSCS Card (Professional Qualified Person) -Has a good knowledge of and adheres to the Company’s governance requirements and maximises LEAN/digital opportunities. -BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
