Tasks
-Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a learning environment that promotes growth, skills development, and team success. -Mentoring junior staff -Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring positive project experiences and identifying opportunities for future business growth. -Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and regulatory compliance while adhering to high standards of quality and safety. -Quality Control: Conduct quality control and assurance reviews on engineering designs and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client expectations and industry standards. -Leading design team efforts -Successfully managing project budgets and schedules -Team Coordination: Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both local and remote, ensuring clear communication and efficient cross-functional teamwork to meet project objectives. -Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team -Innovative Design Solutions: Utilize technical expertise to develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions, addressing complex challenges in all projects. -Budgeting and Scheduling: Oversee project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery. -Industry Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate innovative approaches into project solutions. -Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects meet applicable industry standards, codes, and environmental regulations, and comply with company policies and legal requirements. -Managing multiple, concurrent projects

What You Bring
-Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a diverse background in land development/site design, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal projects including: -Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry- standard tools. -Metro Atlanta experience and relationships a plus -Ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. -Strong leadership capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, organizational, and analytical skills. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering -Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide clear guidance and leadership. -Professional Engineer (PE) registration required, registration in Georgia preferred -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -In depth knowledge of State and Local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting processes.
