Use tablet-based computer system to identify and document building systems and components and provide justification for determination of the physical condition.

Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and perform moderate physical activity such as walking and standing, in a physically challenging environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Knowledge of facility condition assessment software applications like BUILDER SMS.

Client requires the ability to successfully pass security background check to access facilities. The level of background check required by the clients, requires US citizenship.
Ability to travel 75% or more and work flexible hours. Travel could be 2-3 weeks, with potential to be longer.

Proficient computer skills, comfortable with technology and hardware, specifically Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).

Professional Engineers (PE or EIT) or Architects (RA) preferred but not required.

Excellent technical writing skills and experience drafting proposals, cost estimates, project schedules, and work breakdown structures.
7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of experience conducting facility condition assessments.
Experience creating cost estimates for project proposals and for client recommendations.
Prior military service in civil engineering, construction, or facilities management (AFCEC, DPW, IMCOM, Seabee, PRIME BEEF, RED HORSE, USACE)
