The Role

Overview

Inspect façades and roofs, design envelope systems, and manage construction for NYC projects.

Tasks

Provide construction administration services including shop drawing review, submittals, RFIs, and site observations Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to deliver practical and innovative solutions Develop design documents for façade, roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems Perform façade and roof investigations, condition assessments, leak investigations, and field inspections Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and repair or replacement recommendations Stay current with NYC regulations including FISP (Local Law 11) and other building code requirements

What You Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or Engineering Knowledge of NYC façade rules including FISP or Local Law 11 is highly desirable Strong technical writing, detailing, and communication skills Professional licenses such as RA, PE, or QEWI are a plus but not required, and support will be provided toward licensure Minimum of three years of experience in building envelope consulting, façade restoration, roofing, or related practice
