IT Help Desk Technician

Overview

Provide IT support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and deploy equipment.

Tasks

-Track and route issues and requests and document configurations and resolutions -Follow standard operating procedures -Prepare activity reports -Investigate and resolve printing and plotting issues -Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connection issues -Stay current with system information, changes and updates -Research questions using available information resources -Utilize Active Directory, Virtual Technology such as VMware and Microsoft Exchange -Image and setup workstations, laptops and tablets for deployment -Inform management of recurring issues and possible solutions -Identify and escalate situations when needed or when requiring urgent attention -Advise users on appropriate actions -Use the internal help desk software to log, research and respond to help desk requests -Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via telephone and using remote technologies

What You Bring

-Knowledge of and experience with customer service practices -Experience with machine hardware upgrades -Working knowledge of fundamental operations of Windows 10 & 11 is essential -Bachelor's degree preferred -Self-motivated and organized -Attention to detail -Willingness to learn software and new technologies -Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications -Knowledge of Adobe applications such as Acrobat, Creative Suites and Creative Cloud -Planning and organization skills -Ability to prioritize issues and tasks -Ability to analyze and solve problems -1-3 years of relatable experience -Knowledge of Autodesk products preferred; however, not required -Oral and written communication skills -Basic cellular telephone troubleshooting for users -Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing helpdesk support -Ability to work in a fast paced environment
