Tasks

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading and integrating all non-production support functions that are essential to the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the plant. This role has direct ownership of site-level performance in quality, safety, engineering, processing, mix operations, and tooling. The Manufacturing Manager partners closely with production leadership to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory and corporate compliance, and support operational excellence across all manufacturing processes. -Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across all support functions -Promote a proactive safety culture through training, engagement, and visible leadership -Provide strategic and tactical leadership to site-level quality, safety, engineering, processing, mix, and tooling teams -Monitor key performance indicators and drive data-based decision-making across support functions -Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions for quality and safety incidents -Oversee the development and control of mix formulations, process parameters, and tooling readiness to support production needs -Develop and maintain systems that support product quality, workplace safety, and process capability -Maintain audit readiness and lead internal and external audits related to quality, safety, and environmental compliance -Identify and implement processing improvements to reduce waste, improve product quality, and enhance workplace safety -Ensure full compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations -Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline -Support the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations -Lead or support kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other lean manufacturing initiatives -Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment and tooling are optimized for performance, reliability, and safety -Develop and enforce risk mitigation strategies to reduce operational, environmental, and safety risks -Ensure alignment with corporate policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

What You Bring

-Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory frameworks -Effective leadership, coaching, and team development skills -Demonstrated experience in managing or collaborating with quality, safety and engineering functions -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred) -5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role -Strong knowledge or lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and quality management systems -Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
