Tasks

Assist in engineering activities and undertake duties for which their trained and competent to do -Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and adherence to health & safety and infection control procedures -Assist in engineering activities and undertake duties for which their trained and competent to do -Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health & safety and manufacturers’ guidelines -Assist in carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works -Minimise penalty deductions by responding in a timely manner to all maintenance issues in accordance with the requirements of the Contract

What You Bring

Possess a current valid driving licence (Desirable) This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential. Mechanical Ventilation experience Previously worked within a maintenance environment Previous ventilation experience For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a re-location package with this job role. Certain roles may require applicants to undergo a Disclosure check, as noted in the role requirements. Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds level. (Desirable) Prepared to work a flexible shift system including nights -Possess a current valid driving licence (Desirable) -Previously worked within a maintenance environment -Prepared to work a flexible shift system including nights -Mechanical Ventilation experience -Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds level. Equans is looking for a Ventilation Maintenance Assistant to join our team based at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,400 per annum and benefits package.
