Tasks

-Run test plans using lab equipment on natural gas metering systems. -Implement and develop firmware tests using white/black box methods to uncover bugs in natural gas sensors. -Test firmware of gas metering products using black and white box manual testing methods. -Identify bugs in key signals by monitoring and determining the cause of the issues. -Interpret C/C++ embedded code to identify and solve problems. -Transition testing methods from manual to automated.

What You Bring

-Python scripting for automating tests and executing white box testing. -Proficiency in Embedded C, C/C++, and embedded systems. -Ability to read C/C++ in embedded systems to find and solve problems. -Minimum 2+ years of firmware testing experience (5 years preferred). -Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with a certificate in programming. -Experience with test equipment to run black box tests. -Experience running tests and firmware development on ST microcontrollers. -Experience with I2C communication protocols and microcontrollers. -Experience with firmware and Linux. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
