Janitor

Overview

Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the showroom and warehouse.

Tasks

-Empty the trash from both the office and warehouse locations. -Responsible for replenishing the maintenance supplies in the stock room. -Perform minor repairs as needed. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with their hands and arms; and communicate verbally. The employee frequently walks, stands and occasionally sits. -Perform general cleaning of all areas including the showroom and warehouse. -Clean the restrooms, and replenish the stalls with toilet paper. -Clean the building floors by sweeping, mopping, and by using the sweeper machine.

What You Bring

-High School Education preferred. -1-2 years of janitorial experience. -Forklift experience preferred. -Knowledge of using a computer or tablet is a plus. -The employee must regularly lift, pull and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. -Experience driving a sweeper preferred. -Ability to lift up to 70lbs. -Two (2) plus years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
