Electrical Project Engineer

Overview

Assist project coordination and manage construction documentation and submittals.

Tasks

-Assists the Project Manager, Superintendent and foreman in overall project coordination -Prepare complete, accurate and timely submittal logs -Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions as needed -Prepare and maintain RFI logs, submittal logs and expediting logs -Prepare and document extra work orders -Accurately process, distribute, and manage RFIs -Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys -Development of bid packages to managing schedules -Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets -Compile contract close out documents -Review, evaluate, and transmit submittals -Ensure Contract Document Logs are maintained and updated as needed -Update and maintain project filing system, all sets of drawings, specifications, and logs -Attend and document project meetings
