Tasks

-Provides oversight management of technical documentation to procurement, construction, and third parties for assigned units/facilities. -Coordinate evaluation and comment on customers specifications focusing on technical matters and successfully discuss and agree with customers and/or consultants on technical concepts and requirements -Establish / manage the engineering budget, schedule, quantity, quality, and cost and maintains ownership, and ensures execution within approved budgets for assigned units/facilities. -Establishes / manages and reviews the engineering project schedule for assigned units/facilities. -Instigates and reviews TIC reduction opportunities / proposals -Undertakes design co-ordination meetings with construction at various phases including implementation of Design for Safe Construction Procedure for assigned units/facilities. -Executed at least 1 Combined Cycle Project in a Area Project Engineer role. -Leading and integrating the Engineering Team, comprising diverse engineering fields (e.g., electrical, controls & instrumentation, process, mechanical, plant layout, etc.), for building a cohesive team and pursuing common objectives in bid or execution projects and reporting to Project Engineering Manager. -Ensures the facilities are designed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner in accordance with policies and all applicable laws, regulations, authorization basis, codes, standards, and technical requirements. -Complete ownership in managing the statutory and company specific design reviews i.e., 3D Model Reviews, Safety Reviews, etc. Ensures that requisite supporting documentation is completed on schedule and open issues are resolved with client. -Prepare weekly/monthly reports, including progress updates and technical documentation. -Has full technical responsibility for planning, interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating the engineering assignments and activities on the project in liaison with the India Office PEM. -Co-ordinates technical and commercial reviews on engineering outputs from the project / program, reviews contract documentation. -Ensures that statutory and company specific design reviews are undertaken and are in accordance with QA procedures in place at the time -Scope and Quantity development of EPC estimates

What You Bring

-A recognized bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university -Understands digital data delivery.concepts. -Working knowledge of proposal development and Feed qty development. -Ability to present technical design issues to customers and suppliers and the ability to recommend solutions based on knowledge and experience -Ability to develop innovative ideas to reduce project total installed costs (TIC). -Working knowledge of industry / regulatory standards and design criteria within the engineering disciplines. -Working knowledge of construction practices and procedures. -Highly skilled in GT, HRSG, STG and BOP design aspects and interfaces to support EPC execution. -Working knowledge of 3D Model preferably Hexagon Smart Plant 3D and SPR tools. -Proficient execution planning, resource allocation skills -20 years plus of working experience
