Tasks

-Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. -Monitor client drivers and emerging regulations within the stream restoration sector. -Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. -Work with Client Managers, Initiative Leads, Operations, and Aquatic Staff on project tasks. -Support Aquatic Restoration program with project management tasks. -Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. -Help develop and track aquatic restoration projects from assessment to implementation. -Assist with compliance related to project management, health and safety, quality, and project delivery. -Serve as Deputy Project Manager in planning and executing stream and watershed restoration projects. -Foster a collaborative work environment that values safety, retention, and professional growth. -Track key performance indicators (revenue, utilization, discretionary spending, backlog, and cash management). -Provide technical support for project stages including assessments, surveys, analyses, environmental permitting, design, and construction. -Assist with annual goal planning related to health, safety, and quality. -Participate in internal processes related to project management initiatives, contract reviews, and cost reviews. -Support invoicing, budget tracking, meeting facilitation, and staff planning.

What You Bring

-Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. -Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. for fieldwork or equipment transport. -Proficiency in GIS, CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. -Field conditions may include exposure to inclement weather, wildlife, and aquatic environments. -3–5 years of professional experience, which may include field work, project management, or restoration implementation. -Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, biology, planning, environmental studies, or similar). -Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions. -Demonstrated understanding of aquatic restoration construction practices. -Basic knowledge of project financial metrics (revenue, margin, utilization). -Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the Pacific Northwest. -Working knowledge of aquatic restoration methodologies and project processes. -Master’s degree in environmental science, ecology, or related field. -Minimum 1 year supporting technical staff or project management functions. -Ability to travel for project needs. -Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. -Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and client communications. -Comfortable working in outdoor environments that may include uneven terrain, varying weather conditions, and proximity to water bodies. -Travel to project sites may be required throughout the Pacific Northwest. -Must adhere to all Tetra Tech health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
