Tasks

-Maintenance and Evolution of test infrastructure: Keep test infrastructure performing optimally using data-driven methods and up-to-date testing technologies and best practices. -Collaboration and Team Work: Work closely with the Software Engineers, Product Owners, other QAs and stakeholders to develop the test automation according to product requirements. -Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing: Develop routines for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, including the design, setup, and maintenance of HIL environments. Ensure these environments accurately simulate real-world hardware conditions, enabling thorough validation of embedded software.

What You Bring

-Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Skilled in automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure fast and reliable delivery. -Ability to interact and align with stakeholders and technical leaders across the company, ensuring effective communication and shared understanding of project goals. -Hands-on experience with industry-standard test automation frameworks such as Cucumber (behave) and Robot Framework and tools such as Swagger, Postman and Cypress with a focus on creating reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts for embedded systems. -Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. -3+ years’ experience in software testing -Experience using different communication protocols and interfaces, like HTTPS, SSH, Telnet, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485 and CAN. -Use in tools like Jira, preferably with the XRay plugin, Azure DevOps for managing and reporting testing activities. -Background in digital transformation, connectivity solutions, or IoT in the industrial or building automation sector. -Practical experience with BDD using Gherkin and Behave to create and execute automated acceptance tests in collaboration with development teams. -Familiarity with version control systems, like git, Bitbucket or GitHub. -Knowledge of various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, stress, security, integration, and system testing, with a focus on embedded devices and IoT systems including integration with cloud platforms communication with other devices. -Embedded devices testing on Linux operating system and raspberry pi environments. -Proficiency in Python, with the ability to write test scripts, automate workflows, and develop custom tools for test automation. Knowledge of other scripting or programming language (e.g., JavaScript, C/C++) is a plus. -Expertise in mobile application testing for multiplatform frameworks, with hands-on experience using Appium. -Experience working in a global environment with cross-functional teams. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, with a focus on delivering value and meeting requirements. -2+ years’ experience in test automation and frameworks
