The Role
Overview
Assist with AP/AR, vendor payments, tenant billing, and related accounting tasks.

Tasks
-Input executed leases/amendments and maintain tenant information. -Prepare and review various accounts payable and accounts receivable reports. -Work with Regional and Corporate Accounting offices to meet weekly check run deadlines. -Receive and post tenant rent payments. -Post work order charges to tenant ledgers. -Perform additional data entry and administrative tasks as assigned. -Coordinate with property managers and vendors to resolve billing issues. -Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices as required. -Ensure proper functioning of all office equipment, including maintaining copier paper and toner. -Receive and route department mail, packages, and correspondence. Handle FedEx/UPS/Special deliveries and pick-ups. -Calculate and post monthly late fees. -Process invoices, including scanning, assigning vendor code, expense account and description, and routing for approval. -Enter tenant billing adjustments as needed. -Input and post monthly mortgage payments. -Provide support/assistance to Accounting and Operational staff as appropriate. -Assist in ordering/maintaining office and kitchen supplies.

What You Bring
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Excellent communication and organizational skills. -Organized, analytical, detail oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. -Understanding of real estate financial terminology and reporting -2-3 years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience with an automated accounting system preferred. -Team player with strong work ethics, interpersonal skills, and ability to work cooperatively across departmental line. -Accurate and proficient with computer keyboard and 10-key. -Familiarity with lease structures and tenant billing -Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred). -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. -Yardi property management software experience a plus.
