The Role
Overview
Coordinate BIM models and VDC activities to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Tasks
-Create federated models for many purposes (PE review models, field inspection models, punch list items, background models, field instruction models). -General review and documentation of design documents and coordination conflicts. -Verifying with field subcontractors that they have the most current coordinated information. -Assist in the validation of model-based project as-builts by trade subcontractors. -The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas. -Creating all needed data and reports for coordination meetings. -Facilitating regular meetings with design/construction team members and distributing responses to subcontractors. -You will visit construction sites and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules. -Review models from designers, subcontractors, and others to ensure proper coordination. -Provide modeling for change order verification, ROMs, scope holes in modeling efforts, design team support, etc. -Coordinate all BIM models (Trades, Vendors, Partners, etc.) -Field CQC support, resolving field disputes through model verification. -Responsible for individual quality control and timely completion of assigned projects.

What You Bring
-Customer service experience exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with individuals (co-workers, clients, vendors) at all levels. -Bachelor's/Associate's/Technical degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). -Field experience in design and construction. -1-3 years of experience in computer-assisted drafting, design, and VDC/BIM. -Must have great organizational skills (juggling multiple jobs and files from multiple vendors) to be able to meet project deadlines. -Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage. -Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. -Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment. -Willingness to learn new software and follow standards. -Works on complex assignments with assistance, with attention to detail, and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. -Must be able to work in both indoor environments, which may include exposure to varying working conditions. -Strong working knowledge of MEP systems. -This position will have 0-25% travel, or as required by the assigned project. -Must have access to reliable transportation. -Able to deal with and resolve conflicts between contractors, clients, and the design team. -Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. -Must have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis. -Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods. -Working knowledge of BIM 360, ACC, and other Autodesk products.
