Overview
Architect role designing and delivering critical facilities projects from concept to construction.

Tasks
-Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction -Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives -Documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.) -Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples -Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination -Assist in resolving complex technical and design issues -Collaborate on design projects in the critical facilities, life sciences, and healthcare practice areas, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and documentation -Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

What You Bring
-Previous experience in sustainable design projects preferable. Especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel and /or Net Zero Building certification -Experience working directly with contractors -10+ years of experience in the profession of architectural design -Experience resolving complex technical and design issues -Understanding of sustainable and universal design concepts -Experience within Critical Facilities projects (i.e. data centers, command and control centers, high-performance computing, etc.) healthcare projects, or similarly complex projects (i.e. science/labs/national labs, light-industrial/manufacturing, high-tech manufacturing, healthcare, aviation & transportation, etc.) preferred -Experience performing zoning and code analysis in multiple jurisdictions -Strong Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office experience desired. Enscape also beneficial -Proficiency with SketchUp, 3D Max, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, but not required -Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills -Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school -Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants -Understanding of how buildings are constructed, along with the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be done
