Tasks

-Coordinate with clients, authorities, and contractors to ensure operational and safety alignment. -Supervise and mentor design engineers and integration teams throughout all project stages. -Ensure full integration of all subsystems, including: -Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), site installation supervision, commissioning, and handover activities. -Control room interface requirements and graphical hierarchy -Lead the design and implementation of integrated SCADA systems across tunnel and transportation infrastructure. -Prepare and review key design deliverables, including: -Manage technical coordination between SCADA, MEP, ITS, telecom, and civil design disciplines. -Develop and validate SCADA architecture, control philosophies, and communication network topologies to ensure system redundancy and high availability. -Support the development of SCADA tender documents and technical evaluations for vendor selection. -Ensure compliance with international tunnel safety standards, cybersecurity protocols (IEC 62443), and client-specific requirements.

What You Bring

-Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including interface control documentation (ICD) and functional safety deliverables. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering. -Knowledge of transport and ITS systems (VMS, AID, PA, etc.) and their integration with SCADA platforms. -Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces across engineering disciplines. -Fire detection and response -Hands-on experience with leading SCADA/HMI platforms for tunnel or rail environments. -Ability to work collaboratively under pressure while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and performance. -Proven leadership in delivering complex SCADA solutions involving multiple subsystems and control centers. -Familiarity with SIL-rated systems and functional safety lifecycle processes. -Strong understanding of cybersecurity and network segmentation within virtualized SCADA environments. -Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills for managing complex infrastructure systems. -Strong understanding of tunnel operations, automation systems, and safety-critical integration. -SCADA architecture diagrams and system topologies -15+ years of experience in SCADA system design and implementation for rail or metro projects. -Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) -Ventilation control -Experience coordinating with authorities and clients for tunnel commissioning and operation protocols. -CCTV and communication systems
