Tasks

-Stay updated on new pesticide products, application techniques, and regulations. -Clean and service equipment after each use. -Operate equipment such as sprayers, foggers, and bait stations. -Apply pesticides in various environments including landscapes, agricultural lands, and outside public spaces. -Measure, mix, and prepare pesticide solutions or baits according to instructions and safety regulations. -Educate clients or team members on pest management and preventive measures. -Identify pest problems and determine appropriate pesticide treatments. -Maintain accurate records of pesticide use for regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

-High school diploma or GED (some roles may require post-secondary education in horticulture or agronomy). -Good communication and customer service skills. -Proven experience in pest control or pesticide application. -Strong knowledge of pest biology, pesticide safety, and integrated pest management (IPM) principles. -Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods. -Familiarity with data management systems for tracking pesticide use. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug tests (if required). -Experience in agricultural or commercial pest control settings. -Ability to operate specialized pesticide application equipment. -Valid pesticide applicator certification
