Tasks

-Make a memorable first impression by answering the telephone in a professional manner. Create presentations and speak to various-sized groups. -Organize and manage on-site events. This includes securing event space, set up and tear down of the room, and delivery of supplies. -Coordinate with vendors who supply services or goods to the workplace. -Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures. Notify appropriate parties to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building. -Explain detailed and/or complicated information within the team. Follow specific directions as given by the manager. -First point of contact for all those entering the facility. Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Issue visitor and parking passes and follow security protocols. -Apply a high level of attention to detail as well as strong verbal and written skills. -Manage janitorial or maintenance work orders as needed. Coordinate and execute workplace services including mail, office supply services, and onboarding. -Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of the requestor. -Acknowledge inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and co-workers. Provide solutions in a professional customer service-driven manner.

What You Bring

-Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. -Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. -Ability to work requiring significant walking or through other means of mobility. This includes standing in position for extended periods, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing and/or pulling, and frequently lifting up to 40 lbs. -A minimum of 3-4 years of front desk, concierge, customer service, or other hospitality experience. -Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people with a warm demeanor, being able to assess circumstances, empathize, and offer help. -Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, and memos and ask clarifying questions. Desire to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. -Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
