The Role

Overview

Assist customers with waste collection, bulking, inspections and hazardous material handling on-site.

Tasks

-Communicates customer needs to assigned Project Manager to ensure customer is fully supported and Arcwood team members are aware of any changes -Performs basic spill cleanup and standard housekeeping duties as required -Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times -Assists with the general processing needs of electronic scrap materials -Develops strong customer relationships by effectively communicating with all involved parties and providing required reporting or status updates -Collects hazardous and non-hazardous materials from various onsite locations and transports them via Company vehicle to waste collection areas -Assists Onsite Chemists in the movement and segregation of chemical storage containers by hazard class -Assists onsite customer with waste management program such as waste collection, bulking or waste area inspections -Utilizes knowledge of customer's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Arcwood protocols to effectively store and process materials

What You Bring

-Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Search to Company standards -Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner -Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role -Valid driver's license (required) -Some science-related post-secondary coursework (preferred) -Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders -High school diploma or equivalent (required) -Due to the potential exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials, this position requires individuals to be clean shaven at all times in order to don a respirator for protection. -1+ years of related experience (preferred)
