Overview
Develop 3D electrical models, coordinate, clash detect, and produce documentation.

Tasks
-Utilize various VDC software platforms to facilitate coordination and model integration -Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel. -Finalize install and as-built drawings and deliver them to project management for field use -Produce accurate as-built drawings and maintain up-to-date project documentation, including drawing files, correspondence, and schedules -Develop 2D CAD drawings as needed for prefabrication, details, one-lines, and layout -Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed. -Create accurate 3D elements for electrical work on construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules and field requirements -Utilize and develop Revit families and templates to standardize modeling practices -Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts independently by collaborating with other trades -Participate in coordination meetings with general contractors, architects, and engineers to stay informed on new or updated tools that may enhance efficiency -Support less experienced VDC team members by offering guidance and sharing modeling expertise when requested -Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task. -Coordinate models and drawings with project field supervisors -Maintain current software licenses and stay informed on new or updated tools that may enhance efficiency

What You Bring
-Highly detail oriented and organized person able to manage priorities with awareness of deadlines and expectations -Strong self-motivation, work ethic, and drive for career growth -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) -Associates degree in Architectural Technology (or related construction degree or experience) preferred -2-5 years experience in Virtual Design Construction -Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of the company and customers -Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention. -Electrical contracting/construction experience preferred -Office environment, requiring sitting and standing and extended amounts of time using a computer/keyboard at a single workstation. -Strong communication skills, both verbal and written -Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks, and Microsoft Suite software -Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable
