Tasks

We are currently looking for an Industry Manager to join our team in our Grandview, Ohio location. This role will be responsible for overseeing markets within a specific sector, ensuring that business activities align with organizational goals and industry standards. This role encompasses strategic planning, team leadership, and performance optimization to drive growth and efficiency. -Investigate and analyze markets trends, understanding customer needs and identifying growth opportunities and potential risks. -Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the industry segment and taking corrective actions as needed. -Communication effectively with internal and external stakeholders about industry trends, strategies and performance. -Develop and implement strategies tailored to the specific industry's market trends and organizational objectives. -Working with product management, sales, technology and finance to align resources and initiatives. -Acting as a leader, expert and advocate for the industry both internally and externally. -Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners and industry influencers.

What You Bring

-Required wide experience in the Chemical Industry, 5+ years of experience in product management, business management or business development -Microsoft 365 and SAP -Strong analytical skills -Ability to travel up to 50% -Ability to research and characterize emerging industries and markets. -Strong communication, presentation and consulting skills -A bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial management, or a related field; a master's degree may be preferred -Action oriented, hands on, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills -Experience writing business, market and product commercialization plans; as well as product development and product commercialization processes -Self-starter able to develop and identify new opportunities
