Design and draft electrical control panels using Eplan for power systems

Tasks

-Specify and select control panel components such as: Breakers, Relays, Battery Chargers, Controllers including brands like Deif, Basler and others -Cable routing for AC & DC circuits ensuring minimal interference and compliance with best practices. -Designing and drafting of control panel layout drawings as well as schematic drawings and SLD’s using EPLAN software -Analyze, document and communicate end to end process documentation to stake holders -Perform electrical calculations including: Heat load analysis for control panel & thermal management -Cable selection and thermal calculation

What You Bring

-Social Skills: Agility, Versatility, Flexibility, and Teamwork -Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional level -Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions -Understand and integrate generator specifications such as: Rated power in kVA & Voltage types (single-phase, three-phase, etc.) -Must have Eplan P8 tool experience of minimum 5 Yrs. including Eplan database management, macros creation, assemblies, place holder objects & layouts 2D and 3D creation, report generation, generating BOMs, terminal & cable overviews, and other necessary documentation for manufacturing and installation -Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities -Ability to read and interpret general procedures and speak fluent English -Should know the global wiring standards (e.g. IEC, ANSI, NFPA) -Experience and knowledge of Rittal panel selection & other calculations e.g. RiTherm -Basic understanding of Gensets and peripheral devices -Switchgear and component selection, type characteristic of the component -Good written and verbal communication skills -An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking -Effective working individually and within global team environments -Knowledge about Diesel Engines -Exposure to design validation and factory acceptance testing (FAT)
