The Role

Overview

Design and oversee structural projects, ensure safety, manage drawings and construction.

Tasks

-Inspect geotechnical properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations -Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval -Use computer aided design technology for simulation purposes -Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction -Prepare reports, design criteria, estimates, designs and drawings -Administer small sub-contracts and manage structural projects -Liaise with clients and professional staff such as architects and engineers -Make calculations about pressures, loads and stresses -Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness

What You Bring

-Experience in STAAD, AutoCAD and Revit -Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering -Experience with steel, concrete and masonry -Will need to be a good communicator and able to manage multiple projects and clients at a time -Experience in heavy to light industrial projects -Licensed Professional Engineer with 3+ years of work experience as a Structural Engineer -Experience with rotating and vibration analysis -Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations -Experience in industrial structural engineering.
