Manages daily janitorial operations, quality control, budgeting, and staff for assigned building.

Tasks

-Utilize virtual communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Chime, Slack, and other collaboration tools to participate in meetings, coordinate with team members, and maintain effective communication across departments. -Ensure that all paperwork, including terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational model is complete and accurate and is submitted to the district/hub in a timely manner. -Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel within the assigned building. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. -Responsibilities include directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees. -Ensure that services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins. -Manages and provides leadership to Supervisors, and Lead personnel assigned to the buildings. -Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings. -Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns. -Attempt to increase revenue by ensuring the Supervisors are looking for ways to provide additional or periodic services to the customers. -Analyze and manage, in a proactive manner, both the financial and the operational performance of the assigned buildings. -Ensure that payroll is accurate and submitted to the appropriate payroll personnel in a timely manner and, when applicable, correct any payroll discrepancies. -Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations. -Manage the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.

What You Bring

-Supervisory Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a service/customer-oriented environment. -Cost Estimation: Experience in cost estimating and pricing work. -Financial Acumen: Understanding of P&L statements and budgetary controls. -Safety Knowledge: Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures. -Audit & Compliance: Knowledge and familiarity with audit processes, systems, and compliance standards. -Language Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) – preferred. -Education: High School Diploma or GED required. -Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with floorcare equipment and scrubber operations preferred. -Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present information to individuals and groups in both virtual and in-person settings. -Communication Skills: Must be able to write reports and business correspondence, effectively present information, and respond to questions from managers and customers. -Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated skills in PowerPoint and Excel for creating presentations, managing data, and performing basic to advanced spreadsheet functions. -Industry Experience: 2+ years of experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities management preferred.
