Project Manager Internship

Overview

Support project managers in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination.

Tasks

-Help maintain communication with subcontractors and internal teams. -Assist in preparing project schedules and milestone tracking. -Participate in safety audits and incident documentation as needed -Accurately perform and complete administrative tasks as required. -Assist in reviewing project specifications and drawings. -Assist in monitoring project progress and updating status reports. -Participate in internal pre-construction Crux meetings. -Help organize project documentation and maintain version control. -Attend project team meetings and document action items. -Support procurement tracking and coordination with vendors and suppliers. -Support safety documentation and compliance tracking. -Help compile takeoffs and solicit vendor quotes. -Help compile project closeout packages and lessons learned summaries. -Support proposal preparation including technical writing and document formatting. -Assist in organizing and archiving project files and records.

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Basic understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in construction -Strong work ethic – able to work in a team and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. -Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. -Excellent critical thinking and planning skills. -In-progress undergraduate degree in civil engineering or construction management. -Ability to travel domestically and be present on projects as needed. -Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. -Able to balance, kneel, crouch, and walk/hike through uneven and steep terrain, occasionally at high altitude
