Tire & Lube Service Technician

Overview

Perform tire, lubrication, and minor repairs on heavy trucks and fleet vehicles.

Tasks

-Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify and report mechanical or safety issues. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company and OSHA safety standards. -Assist with minor repairs such as belts, hoses, lights, and battery service. -Perform routine lubrication services on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment (oil changes, grease, filters, fluids). -Support the fleet maintenance team with additional duties as assigned. -Inspect and replace tires on concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other fleet vehicles, including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs. -Document work performed, parts used, and service intervals in maintenance logs. -Check and maintain fluid levels (engine oil, hydraulic, coolant, transmission, etc.).

What You Bring

-Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. -Knowledge of basic truck/equipment systems and preventive maintenance practices. -Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain). -High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus). -Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tire equipment safely. -Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings. -Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor/garage conditions. -Prior experience in tire service, lube service, or fleet maintenance (heavy truck/equipment preferred).
