Tasks

-Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, aligning deliverables with client expectations and business goals. -Own the role of Project Manager, driving bridge-focused initiatives from concept through completion with precision and accountability. -Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering growth in structural engineering knowledge and nurturing the next generation of technical leaders. -Provide strategic leadership and technical direction on challenging bridge engineering issues, contributing to project success and industry advancement. -Serve as the bridge discipline lead on multidisciplinary projects, applying your specialized expertise to shape innovative solutions. -Lead complex bridge design projects across diverse geographic regions, ensuring full compliance with state, federal, and tribal standards. -Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining operational excellence and consistency across all phases of project execution.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of NMDOT project development policies and procedures is a plus; any DOT experience is required. -Ability to independently plan, schedule, and perform multiple projects/assignments. -Proficient in common structural engineering software such as Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, LPile, LEAP Bridge Steel, and MathCAD. -Valid Driver’s License required. -BS in civil engineering -Familiar with timber and masonry design for bridges. -Advanced understanding of seismic design principles and non-linear analysis techniques. -Proficient in CAD design software, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation -Ability to effectively use these tools for planning, communication, and collaboration with project teams and clients. -7-10 years of experience in the design of bridges and transportation-related structures. -Professional Engineer registration is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. New Mexico is preferred.
