Tasks

-Develop and implement our GIS & XR strategy, ensuring it integrates across all areas of the Alliance. -Act as an ambassador for digital change – promoting our pioneering work both internally and externally at events and conferences. -Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies and embedding them into day-to-day practice. -Deliver geospatial applications, immersive tools, and data insights that unlock efficiency and enable smarter decision-making. -Collaborate with suppliers, technical consultants, and internal teams to maximise value from platforms and tools. -Lead and mentor a talented geospatial team (GIS Analysts, VR Analysts, Data Specialists).

What You Bring

-MSc in Geospatial Sciences, GIS, Digital Engineering, or related. -Hands-on knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS (ArcGIS Online and Pro). -A degree (Geography, Environmental Science, or similar preferred – but all considered). -Experience in managing or supporting business systems and integrating software solutions. -Experience in leading or mentoring others. -Experience in the water industry or capital delivery projects. -Proven project management experience (Agile knowledge desirable). -Strong experience in GIS roles (analytics, application development, or both). -Understanding of CDEs and GIS-BIM integration. -Stakeholder management and excellent communication skills. -Knowledge of coding (Python, SQL, Arcade).
