Sr. Associate, Project Execution

Overview

Assist PM in executing utility-scale renewable projects, managing schedule, budget, safety.

Tasks

-Ensure the highest standards of environmental health and safety on assigned renewable energy project(s). -Coordinate project expectations, workflows, and communications among various departments and stakeholders, both internal and external, to RWECE to ensure alignment with the project objectives, contracts, budgets and schedules. -Support the PM in the execution of supplier and contractor contracts, including the review and approval of change orders and invoices. -Maintain effective communication with the PM and all team members, both internal and external to the company. Assist in the preparation and distribution of progress status reports, as required. -Assist the project team in Quality Analysis/Quality Control for key deliverables associated with both managed projects and task, as well as those overseen by others. -With support from the PM, identify, report, and manage project risks in collaboration with the relevant project stakeholders to develop effective mitigation plans. -Assist PM’s to ensure the timely execution of the project, within the established schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with safety, reliability, technical quality and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

-Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time -Construction field experience is preferred -Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management related field of study from an accredited college or university -Has a valid US driver’s license -Highly motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, with robust problem-solving capabilities -Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage customer relationships -Strong organizational skills and adept at coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables -Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines -Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience; minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience -Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams -Able to travel 25% to 40% of the time -Proven track record of empathy, relationship building, and effective leadership across diverse backgrounds -Detail-oriented with strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of business principles -Experience in the power generation field is preferred -Demonstrated commitment to learn about the Company and the renewables space -Capable of multi-tasking, while working independently and as part of a team -This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE office and field locations -Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus
