Tasks
-Project leadership: Manage the engineering component of water and wastewater projects, including advanced treatment facilities, conveyance systems, and infrastructure development -Technical expertise: Provide technical consultation and decision-making for complex engineering challenges. -Team management: Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff. -Client and stakeholder relations: Interface with clients, government officials, and other stakeholders, and play a key role in business development. -Project delivery: Oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and client satisfaction standards. -Financial management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and profitability goals. -Design oversight: Manage the development of engineering designs, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

What You Bring
-Experience in working with local and state regulatory agencies -Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. -Experience managing D/B projects that are a minimum of $25 Million -A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental, or a related engineering field. -Good understanding of project delivery and ability to facilitate technical discussions when needed -Strong technical and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple disciplines and complex projects. -A DBIA certificate is preferred but not required -Travel to other offices/sites will be required -Experience in managing engineering subcontractors -Proven project management experience with ability to manage a diverse team -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Minimum of 10 years experience in water or wastewater design and project management, with a strong understanding using progressive design-build, lump sum design-build, or CMAR project delivery methods -Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and manage risk -Demonstration of strong commercial and construction contract experience
