Tasks

-Review and approve supplier work proposals and invoices -Assist with marketing and business development -Prepare and review of work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies -Mentor junior staff to assist with their professional development -Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure that appropriate health and safety procedures are being followed -Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and manage them within budget -Evaluate/interpret data and prepare detailed reports -Prepare and review of new clientele proposals for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, engineering, or related field -Ability to work individually and as a team member -Motivated self-starter and ability to perform periodic field work -Possess ability to effectively manage personnel and administrative functions -Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of the consulting business -Technical writing competency and computer literacy -Ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with site operations -Willingness to conduct Business Development activities -Strong commitment to safety and staff development -Strong problem solving, research, and communication skills -Consulting experience -Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification -In-depth experience with service line specific cost projections, budget preparation and tracking -Demonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelines -Seven or More years of experience in geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, stormwater management, wastewater treatment, permitting projects, or compliance projects in the public and private sectors -Ability to travel within the western regional US -Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agencies -Advanced technical capabilities associated with the specific field of expertise
