Tasks

-Support permitting processes and regulatory compliance -Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders -Evaluate design alternatives and resolve technical issues -Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses -Plan and design water/wastewater/stormwater treatment, facilities/distribution/conveyance, pumping, and storage facilities projects -Ensure compliance with standard engineering practices and documentation requirements -Prepare engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates -Work closely with the Project Managers and Engineers to create land development construction drawings for Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, and Federal clients -Review submittals from contractors for conformance with engineering specifications and drawings and respond to requests for additional information -Perform water resources engineering and modeling for surface water management systems and stormwater collection/conveyance systems

What You Bring

-Must be a U.S. Citizen -Previous work experience in consulting and/or DoD/government contracting -Engineering in Training (EIT) certification -Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering -AutoCAD Civil 3D experience -Able to generate precise layout drawings from sketches and specifications -Experience in using GeoStorm software -Experience in civil/site drafting and design -Proficient in using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil drawings and following client standards -Knowledgeable of standard drafting practices and procedures -Experience in using Bluebeam software -Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat or similar software -Must have a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to client offices and project sites when required (local and interstate travel required) -Must be able to pass a background screen -Familiar with civil construction, civil engineering standards, and materials
