Overview

Handle material receipt, stock control, and housekeeping for logistics at Hinkley Point C

Tasks

-providing general support to various contractors on Hinkley Point C -Identifying maintenance requirements for tooling or electrical items (Calibration/ PAT/ Thorough examination) -Posting of correct signage in buildings -Housekeeping of buildings to ensure the engineers can carry out their duties efficiently -Receipt & put away of incoming materials -Controlled issue of all stores -Ensure that HPC code of conduct is followed at all times -Housekeeping of stores, buildings and compound areas -Moving material from Buildings to various compounds -Assisting with vehicle manoeuvring in designated areas

What You Bring

-Driving Licence -The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access. -The ability to understand Safe Systems of work -Good communication skills -Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Tooling and consumables -Fire signage -Understanding logistics limitations and regulation -A CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date). -To be able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team. -You must be able to obtain the HPC pass. -To demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in unsafe conditions. -You must be able to provide a 3-year work history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols. -Experience of working within the construction Industry
