Proactively maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise facility systems to achieve maximum uptime and performance.
Lead and participate in hands-on preventative maintenance, collaborate with vendors, and manage permit to work processes for essential systems (UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems).
Conduct routine site inspections, responding swiftly to building and data centre alarms to address potential issues before they escalate.
Keep precise and up-to-date site documentation, including maintenance logs, MOPs, and operational scripts.
Deliver on work requests and circuit installations with accuracy and attention to detail.
Support incident response, working alongside or independently from senior engineers, and actively contribute to on-site solutions.
Carry out repairs and corrective maintenance, minimising downtime and ensuring service continuity.
Engage in facility and infrastructure projects aimed at continuous improvement and innovation.
Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities to boost reliability and extend asset life.

Previous experience in data centres, critical environments, or large-scale facilities is a plus.
Deep technical knowledge of UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems; HV switching experience is an advantage.
Strong communicator, with keen attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
Possess ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
Resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or within a collaborative team.
