Tasks

-Communicate corrective and preventative actions to internal teams and external stakeholders following non-conformances. -Ensure version control and regulatory compliance across all documentation. -Deliver targeted training for employees transitioning between utility territories, ensuring compliance with local standards. -Maintain and update work procedure manuals and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation. -Lead monthly toolbox meetings to share updates, address field challenges, and promote continuous improvement. -Ensure training materials are accurate, accessible, and aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements. -Develop targeted training interventions to prevent recurrence. -Conduct retraining sessions in response to audit findings or performance gaps. -Provide ongoing coaching to enhance technical proficiency and support professional development. -Schedule periodic refresher courses covering safety protocols, procedures, and operational updates. -Support field teams with technical clarifications, procedural updates, and troubleshooting. -Drive training effectiveness through measurable improvements in team performance -Incorporate feedback from trainees and leadership into program evaluation and continuous improvement -Maintain a complete, accurate, and accessible library of training materials -Create and maintain training resources for new contracts, existing procedures, and all operational departments. -Facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration and role readiness. -Builds collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders -Ensure timely delivery and regular updates of training content and operational support -Provide expert guidance to auditors, supervisors, and locators. -Investigate damage incidents and audit findings to identify root causes.

What You Bring

-Post-secondary education in business administration, communications, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered -Demonstrates strong proficiency in document control and version tracking -Communicates effectively with excellent interpersonal skills -Valid driver’s license required for travel-related responsibilities -Experience in utility locating, with strong knowledge of underground infrastructure and field operations -Background or formal training in adult education is considered an asset -The position requires regular travel to other business offices and in-field locations to support training delivery and operational needs -Ability to deliver internal training, lead instructional sessions, and mentor team members effectively -Skilled in using digital systems for record management and ensuring documentation accuracy
