-Supporting advanced earthquake engineering analyses -Assisting in performing geotechnical investigations and analyses, retaining wall/excavation support design, hydrology and hydraulic studies; and reinforced concrete design -Preparing construction plans -Performing construction observation and materials testing -Assist with dam inspections and reporting

What You Bring

-Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening -Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check -Possess good oral and written communication skills and computer literacy -Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds -Ability to work with direction as part of a team -Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering Bachelor’s. Enrollment in other college engineering or relevant science programs may be considered. -Must possess a valid driver’s license as driving is an essential function of the job -Prior professional work or summer intern work in a related field -Willingness to perform a variety of tasks including office and field work
