Tasks

-Implement evidence-based laboratory techniques and support continuous improvement in laboratory practices. -Prepare and process clinical specimens for biomedical testing, ensuring accuracy and quality at every step. -Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities. -Maintain clinical records using a range of IT systems and manage enquiries efficiently. -Liaise with a multi-disciplinary team, highlighting urgent results and supporting the pathology team to meet departmental targets. -Uphold technical standards, policies, and procedures, escalating concerns as needed. -Serve Your Community – Play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate laboratory services to patients across Dubai. -Dispose of clinical and sensitive samples and chemical waste safely, following all regulatory and safety guidelines.

What You Bring

-Education: Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences (minimum 2 years’ course duration) from an accredited institution. -Behavioural Competencies: Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills; attention to detail; teamwork; time management; customer service orientation. -Technical Skills: Experience in areas such as ECG, Spirometry, Post Natal Clinics, Long Term Condition Clinics, Hypertension Monitoring, Venepuncture, Cannulation, Blood Sugar Monitoring, Blood Disposal, and handling infectious/hazardous substances. -Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar laboratory role.
