Tasks

-Ensure system compliance with accounting standards and data‑security best practices. -Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close and prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts and variance analyses. -Collaborate with the Controller, IT and senior management to support company‑wide initiatives and process improvements. -Train accounting staff on systems usage and new features, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital literacy. -Oversee daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations. -Supervise, mentor and develop accounting staff to achieve departmental and organizational goals. -Serve as the liaison between finance and IT, building and maintaining financial reporting dashboards using SQL, Power BI or similar tools. -Assist with tax filings, coordinate internal and external reporting requirements and maintain internal controls. -Identify accounting pain points and translate them into software solutions; automate workflows such as reconciliations, inter‑company transactions and reporting to reduce manual effort and errors. -Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate journal entries and account reconciliations.

What You Bring

-Technical proficiency with SQL, financial reporting tools, automation scripts and integration technologies; advanced Excel skills are expected. -4+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities and working with financial/ERP systems in a technical or hybrid finance role. -Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills. -Financial systems & reporting tools -Solid understanding of accounting methods and financial reporting standards. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
