The Role

Overview

Internship analyzing and simulating industrial processes for capacity planning and optimization.

Tasks

-Design, improve and implement integrated solutions related to physical, human and financial aspects through the application of analytical, discrete event and other simulation skills, and process engineering. -Join in charitable, social, and sports activities with other Hatch employees. -Carry out observations or surveys on industrial sites. -Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions -Participate in local Lunch and Learns, Hatch Charity Events, the triannual Student Showcase, and more to develop your skills. -Analysis of complex industrial systems focused on capacity planning, debottlenecking and optimization of production lines. -Sizing equipment and writing technical specifications -Develop flow diagrams. -Analyze data from a process. -Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. -Perform calculations and develop simulation models. -Collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally.

What You Bring

-Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field. -Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. -Excellent team player and good communication. -Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects. -Experience in coding is beneficial but not a requirement. -Data processing and analysis -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges. -Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Dynamic simulation by discrete event
