Tasks

-Draws conclusions and makes recommendations based on analysis. -Proposes appropriate analytical methods and techniques. Assists in providing advice and consulting services within scope of scientific knowledge. -Conducts specific phases of projects for more experienced scientists. -Detects problems when using standardized procedures because of the condition of sample, difficulties with the equipment, etc. -Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance. -Performs standard scientific work requiring application of techniques and procedures.

-Strong analytical and numerical skills. -Willingness and ability to work outdoors in sometimes challenging conditions. -Willingness and ability to learn and rapidly master new tasks. -Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients, colleagues and sub-contractors alike. -Strong quality and time management. -40hr OSHA HAZWOPER certificate. -Must be able to do day travel regionally. -Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work. -Valid driver's license, subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening. -Excellent written and verbal skills. -Scientific research and report writing (including web based research). -Due to some of the sites, US Citizenship or permanent resident is required. Sponsorship will not be available for this role now or in the future. -Self-starter, develops and delivers work under own initiative. -Master's Degree preferred -Microsoft Office, AutoCADD, GIS applications. -Flexible with working extended hours and locations, travel within 1 – 3 hrs drive of home office, and occasionally further. -Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering or other related fields, AND two plus (2+) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education. -Subject to pre-employment Background check.
