Tasks

Based in either Palmerston North, Taupo or Taranaki and reporting to the Performance and Quality Manager, you will play a role in ensuring assurance, compliance, and quality outcomes across contract KPIs, administrative requirements, and audit activities. Working closely with Service Delivery Managers, subcontractors, and client stakeholders, you'll contribute to strengthening performance, safety, and customer satisfaction in a high-profile contract environment. -Assist with compliance processes to align with Downer and client requirements. -Foster positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. -Manage documentation, competency requirements, and quality systems to ensure contract obligations are met. -Contribute to client engagement, including resolving non-conformance reports. -Support the delivery of assurance and compliance activities, including audits, management plans, and KPI reporting.

What You Bring

-Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft 365 -Ability to work collaboratively and independently -Familiarity with transmission construction or maintenance activities (Desirable) -Being part of a Tier 1 ASX-listed company with in-house technical expertise and career pathways not found in traditional contractor environments. -Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills -Time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines -Strong communication and relationship-building skills -Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Health and Safety/Quality Management or a related discipline (Desirable) -Knowledge of New Zealand electrical standards and safety regulation (Desirable).
