Manage HSE programs and safety on construction projects
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day. -Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan. -Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day. -Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project. -Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis. -Reviews and files project safety documentation. -May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis -Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis. -Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan. -Conducts site-specific safety orientations. -Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims. -Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property. -Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc. -May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.

What You Bring
-Certifications and licenses: Preferred, but not required- STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP. -High level of integrity for reporting incidents and events, as well as upholding company policy, personal activities, etc. -Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. -Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.) -Education: high school diploma minimum, bachelor's degree preferred. -Experience: At least one year of full-time project safety experience. -Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. -Special skills: able to use various computer software and apps proficiently, bi-lingual preferred . -Good written and verbal communication (proper grammar, spelling, etc. -May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
