Tasks

-Rapid assessment of optimum solutions to meet business needs -Ensuring the plant meets required performance criteria and is optimised for operation -The role will be a mixture of lab, field and office based and will involve collection and analysis of samples and interpretation of results.

What You Bring

-Excellent laboratory skills -Automated Engineering -The candidate must be willing to travel to a range of sites throughout the UK and some projects may involve working away for short periods from time to time. -Full clean UK driver’s license and access to own vehicle essential -Awareness of H&S requirements for working on sites (RAMS, permits, inductions) -The ideal candidate would be someone who has gained relevant practical experience, with an interest in providing practical solutions to environmental improvement. -Field experience involving sample collection and use of sampling machines and flow meters -Good communicator, coordinating with various teams and to your line manager -Practical experience of working on industrial sites / water utility sites -Willing to work outdoors and collect and analyse wastewater samples -This role is well suited to someone who is keen to gain practical experience of operating ETP’s and working within a diverse team on environmental consultancy projects. -Theoretical knowledge in water/wastewater processes -Practical experience of working on wastewater and ETP sites -Our unique service for optimising decisions on need, scope, cost and risk of the investment portfolio -Baseline understanding of wastewater and sludge treatment processes
