The Role

Overview

Operate break presses, plasma tables, cranes, and forklifts in a weekend shift.

Tasks

-Form and or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes -Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence -Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments -Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely -Operate any or all of the following machines: -Follow all safety rules and practices

What You Bring

-The ability to stand throughout the day, and climb on/off equipment, and lift materials in excess of 50 pounds regularly -Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements -The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance -Working knowledge/experience with angle grinders/metal manufacturing/fabrication -Experience operating overhead cranes -A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal -Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 20’ or larger break press, Plasma Table, or Drill Press, preferably breaking and/or cutting steel up to 2” thick -Experience operating forklifts -Kinetic (Drill Press)
