Project Manager

Overview

Manage commercial HVAC projects, overseeing scope, scheduling, vendors, and quality.

Tasks

-Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawing and specifications. -Manage the overall HVAC job scope on small and larger-scale commercial projects ($5M). -Provide follow up and closeout documents for completed jobs. -Other tasks as required to ensure sound completion of projects that are assigned to you. -Overseeing the execution of all work, including quality and production and ensuring that the crew works to job specifications. -Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects. -Work with general contractors and job foremen to determine scheduling needs and provide relevant job information to ensure efficient field production.

What You Bring

-Experience working with project management methodology including budget development, project planning, project management software and finance/accounting concepts and practices. -(3-5) or more years of experience in project or program management, ideally in the commercial installation space -High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications -Skill in demonstrating excellence through inclusion, teamwork, collaboration, knowledge transfer/training, and positive working relationships. -Ability to simply the communications of complex projects to effectively convey task assignments, milestones, work breakdown structures, and critical paths. -Bachelor's degree preferred -Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects simultaneously to keep projects on course. -Interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and customers. -Candidate must be capable of working in a team environment, participate in technical activities throughout the development life cycle of the project, and maintain a close technical involvement with all contributing developmental organizations.
