Overview

Perform physical labor on construction, demolition, and remediation sites.

Tasks

-Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations in accordance with project plans and specifications. -Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. -Follow direction to perform work activities. -Position, join, align, and seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections and pipes. -Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed. -Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. -Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. -Clean and prepare construction sites. -Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.

What You Bring

-Have basic math and problem-solving skills. -Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly. -Must be able to operate construction tools. -Experience working on environmental remediation construction projects. -Ability to travel to project sites, as needed. -One year of industry-related experience. -Must pass drug test and background check. -40-Hour HAZWOPER training and 8-Hour HAZWOPER refresher. -Must have dependable transportation and valid driver’s license. -Must be able to stand/walk up to 100% of shift.
