  • Perform groundwater, leachate, stormwater and landfill gas sampling and testing
  • Preparing and completing regulatory compliance reports, work plans, and special studies
  • Stormwater modeling and management plan development
  • Coordinating with contractors and clients
  • Preparing engineering calculations and supporting analyses
  • Preparing regulatory compliance reports, work plans, and special studies
  • Preparing site plans, grading and drainage plans, pump and piping plans, and conceptual layouts for civil earthworks, landfill grading and construction projects
  • Conduct field inspections and construction quality assurance (CQA) oversight

  • Possession Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • Self-starter and problem solver
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
  • Minimum of 6 years
  • APTIM - Helpful Documents
  • Hydrogeologic and geotechnical investigations
  • Ability to wear proper PPE for work on hazardous waste sites
  • Knowledge of landfill operations and solid waste projects
  • Physical work the ability to lift 50 pounds will be required
  • Possess a "Safety First" work ethic
  • Possession of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher certificate
  • Landfill / Solid Waste experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS software
  • Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • BS/MS Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent sciences.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
