Tasks
As our Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and continuously strengthening a decision-making (assurance) framework for Historic England, ensuring a structured approach to business case approval via the Portfolio Management Board. You will ensure that assurance activities provide oversight for Portfolio delivery, complementing corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting the organisation’s ability to manage risk and realise benefits.

What You Bring
-Highly collaborative, great with people, influencing and leadership skills, able to work with and get the best from team members and colleagues across multiple disciplines. -Sound judgement, with the ability to anticipate issues and support strategic priorities. -Experience of assurance management, including development or management of assurance, governance and/or decision-making frameworks or processes -Demonstrable experience of driving innovation and implementing new initiatives. -Ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels, making challenging concepts and processes clear and actionable
